Welp, I officially suck at blogging. Again. But in my own defense, I don't have internet at my apartment yet, so I'm just going to have to take advantage of the time I have available to keep you all updated.

Last week, a guy my mom has been trying to set me up with, Dane, texted me and asked me out for drinks. Although i'm still not 100% over Jd, I feel like I know that it wasn't right, and it will never be right, so why waste any time? Even if i'm not into it, its free dinner and drinks, right? I'm not ready to 'date' yet though, so I invited my friend Alicia and her boyfriend, Dan. Dan and Dane hit it off right away. There were no awkward silences, and Dane turned out to be really (really) cool.

I was a little disappointed that I had to drive though. I'm not exactly up-to-date on how dating works, but I thought that if a guy asked you out, he drives, and he pays. Well, at least he paid for dinner and drinks! Haha. We went to a really casual bar in St. Louis called Blueberry Hill. It's an amazing place to go, and the atmosphere was perfect. My choice of course! :)

After that, we went down to the landing in downtown St. Louis and I learned how to play darts! I most definitely lost, but I still learned! By the end of the night, I was hitting the right numbers on the last try. Haha. I suck.

I scored a second date!

He asked me if I liked football, and then asked if I wanted to go to a game next Sunday, so I said yes. I had only been to a professional game once, and it was Pre-Season, so it hardly counted. When I came back from the bathroom, he was on his phone, and purchased 4 tickets for he and I, and Alicia and Dan to go! How sweet is that?!

I could definitely get used to this. It's really nice to go out and not have to pay for it. As much as I love Jd, I wasn't treated right. It's time to enjoy life and have enough respect for myself to walk away from what's not right for me.
